Computer Lab Assistant - CommonBond Communities

Details:
Computer Lab Staff provide technical computer support to youth and adult residents using Advantage Center computers on a drop-in basis (during "open computer' hours). Open computer hours are held at several Advantage Centers located throughout the metro.
Must be:
·Sixteen years of age
·Comfortable working with people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds
·Able to speak, read and write English
·Must be able to provide assistance to users of Windows '95, Word, and use of the Internet Other software used in Advantage Centers include Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Front Page and Mavis Beacon
·Sensitivity to the needs of students and ability to be creative in response to them
·Access to reliable transportation to and from volunteer site
