Welcome to the CTEP Volunteer HUB!

Program Description

The Volunteer Hub project is an effort by CTEP to link and fully utilize the efforts of technical volunteers with over 70 Community Technology Centers (CTCs) in the Twin Cities.

There are many volunteer opportunities available with CTEP and our partner labs. Potential volunteer projects include:

• Teach or tutor a computer class (computer basics, Microsoft Word/Excel/Access, email/internet basics, digital photography, web design, etc.)
• Monitor a lab and provide basic troubleshooting during open lab hours
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems
• Develop and implement activities for after-school or seniors computer programs
• Develop curriculum for computer classes
• Assist with staff technology training

CTEP is all about volunteers; we are staffed by volunteers, we recruit volunteers, and we can help CTCs find volunteers. Use these online tools to get involved in your community technology center.

CTCs
Do you have any volunteer needs? We would like to help! Write a detailed, complete volunteer position description, and post or update your volunteer opportunity here. To access these administration forms, you need a username and password.

Contact info@c-can.org to get a password and login to post your volunteer opportunity.

In return, when you receive any volunteers from CTEP, we ask that you submit a volunteer tracking form. CTEP needs this information for reporting and funding purposes.
